INCHES

Fit overall length across X

Straight across the entire assembly along the entry direction (X), excluding rise and side shift. Measures between the furthest centerline points in X. C is calculated when it controls this span; otherwise enter C and adjust A. Conduit outside diameter and fittings are not included.

A: START to intersection I1. B: I1 to I2. C: I2 to END. Intersections are where extended straight centerlines meet. Enter decimals or fractions, e.g. 24 1/2.

90 faces in the bender

Choose one. Viewed from the long END toward the ram. The long end stays flat. The 90 faces Left or Right only.

Tooling & stock settings +

Extra stock is a total allowance per piece for shop trimming or end preparation. It does not bypass the minimum straight length at either finished end.

120″ STICKS

Hard limit: developed length must not exceed 120″. Developed length plus extra stock must also fit one 120″ stick. Longer bends cannot be saved or issued.

Bender setup references · shop review

Bend tangents & orientation (shop geometry)

Shop review required. Tangent stations are geometry references, not bender alignment marks. Verify tooling, springback, gripping lengths, coupling fit and end preparation before fabrication.

Equipment references & measurement definitions

Plain 90s use X for outside stub length and Y for outside tail length, matching the shop side-view diagram. Kick-90s use X for the stub and horizontal Y from tail end to the back of the 90, C for kick height above the flat tail, and D from the outside back of the 90 to the kick centerline intersection along the sloped section. The kick angle is calculated as asin(C/D). Left/Right is viewed from the long END toward the ram. Offsets retain A/B/C theoretical centerline-intersection measurements and overall length across X. Developed length follows the actual centerline arcs and straights. Outside dimensions include nominal conduit outside diameter; fittings and end preparations are not included. Machine shapes remain illustrative.

Omni 747 radii: manufacturer bend-radius chart, page 6. Greenlee radii: one-shot shoe groups in the 881/881CT manual. The default 4″ radius is 20⅞″ for group 50312740; the manual also lists a 21″ group. Confirm your installed shoe. Your shop’s 4″ process is configured as one-shot.

Every bend request is limited to 120″ developed length; automatic splitting is disabled. Connection take-up and threading loss are not modeled. Piece lengths are theoretical centerline lengths; use the allowance setting for extra starting stock. Stock estimates assume one new stick per piece, without offcut nesting. Shop review is required for machine access, bend sequencing and fitting placement.
